LVB Tracker - LCD Cable finished
94 LCD Cables are finally finished. Last Wednesday I started cutting 600 ft of wire into 1128 little white wires. Thursday was goof off day! Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday those wires were stripped and the AMP crimp connector contacts were applied. At 1:30 pm today I started assembling the cable assemblies. There were skype interruptions, dinner and taking care of the pets and the assembly was completed around 11pm.
Tomorrow I need to help my wife Sue with a computer problem so start-up of the button assembly will be delayed. The wires are cut but they need to be marked and stripped. Soldered to the switches then crimp connectors applied. There are only 5 wires involved. Their prep is slightly more involved but I hope to be finished by Friday or so. Also have doctors appointment.
In 10 minutes there will be 29 days till the Dayton Hamvention!

Hey man, Good to see you updating the blog. Sure make's good reading. First i would like to say sorry for keep calling you when your doing stuff. It's hard to tell when your at the work bench or at the computer bench. Your doing a good job Mike keep up the good work! Them wire's look like they take time to get right!
